FilmOn TV is a free internet-based television service, providing over 600 channels and approximately 90,000 video-on-demand titles. Launched in September 2010 in the US, they also have multiple apps available on mobile devices and facebook.
A team over at FOTV is launching the first 24/7 drone racing channel. They plan on including a variety of content to fill the time, including interviews with racers and builders, races, and anything else that pertains to drone racing as a sport. The channel will be available across all FOTV platforms, including their home site www.filmon.com.
“Drone Racing is changing the way we think about sports and virtual reality, and FOTV is proud to launch the very first channel devoted to it 24/7 on FilmOn.com,” said FOTV Media Networks CEO Alki David. “It’s truly the next NASCAR and watching these little warriors tear it up at 100 MPH is sick, addictive fun.”
The channel is already home to thousands of hours of archived highlights, but the channel also has plans to show 10 new one-hour episodes of drone-related content every week. On top of this, they will comprehensively cover the top drone- racing championship events.
