The Drone Racing League (DRL) has been in the news quite a lot over the past month, with their partnerships between themselves and multiple sports / news channels around the world, ranging from ESPN in the United States and Sky News in the United Kingdom. Now, if you are interested in experiencing the thrill of piloting a First-Person-View (FPV) DRL Racer V2 (their own custom drone design), you can do so.
The DRL FPV simulator helps bring out that perspective, letting anyone feel the thrill of racing one of their drones around a course, competing against other players for the best times. Their game has many different modes, including Training, Single-Player, Freefly, Race, Multiplayer, a campaign mode, and a place you can go to tryout to become a member of the DRL racing team.
As of right now, upon release, there are only enough maps available to replicate the official DRL race courses in the sim. As time goes on, they plan on releasing more and more maps to the game that you can race in and on. You can control the simulated drone through keyboard controls, or if you have a controller (Xbox, PlayStation, or even your own RC transmitter), you can connect one of those for a more realistic experience.
